About PantryPilot
PantryPilot is the kitchen-math side of cooking: the servings math, the cup-to-gram conversions, and the "can I use this pan instead?" answers — plus the family recipes that use them.
Most recipe sites give you one recipe sized one way. Real home cooking is messier: eight people coming Sunday, a cake pan you don't own, an air fryer standing in for the oven. That is all arithmetic — and arithmetic is what PantryPilot does best.
Every tool here runs the math instantly in your browser: scale a recipe's ingredient list to any serving count with sensible fractions, convert volume to weight with real ingredient densities, convert oven times for the air fryer or slow cooker, and substitute cake pans without ruining the bake.
The recipes are original, written for weeknights and tested in a normal home kitchen — no restaurant equipment, no twenty-step gloops. Each one links back to the tools so you can resize it for your table.
What makes PantryPilot different
- Your numbers never leave your browser. Every calculator on PantryPilot runs entirely on your device. We never see, store, or transmit the figures you enter — there are no accounts and no server-side processing of your inputs.
- Published methodology. Each calculator page explains the exact formula it uses and the assumptions behind it, so you can check our work or reproduce it in a spreadsheet.
- Free, forever, without a paywall. PantryPilot is supported by advertising. There is no premium tier, no email gate, and no upsell.
